The Uni megamenu module is a multi-level universal menu for Opencart 3x, a mobile menu for Opencart 3.

The module allows you to create a multi-level responsive, customizable menu, plus a mobile menu.

Features and capabilities of the Uni megamenu module:

For jobs:

  • Display the main and additional menus
  • Display selected categories, subcategories of goods to menu items
  • Display landing pages (product tags, filter pages).
  • Display arbitrary products with price and image.
  • Display manufacturers with images.
  • Display articles.
  • Display user link.
  • Output HTML content.
  • Display a travel card with an additional description (You can specify the address, phone number, etc.)
  • Ability to add icons to menu items.
  • Ability to adjust background, color, font size of menu items.
  • The menu can be adjusted to any screen width. Even with a large number of sub-items, they will not go beyond the screen.


For mobile:
1. The ability to configure some items to show in the mobile menu.
2. You can set the width of the menu window.
3. Three options for opening menu items (overlap, expand, none)
4. Two positions for opening the menu window (right, left)

The module does not overwrite site files, if necessary, simply disable the OCMOD modifier and your menu will take on its original appearance.

Installing the Uni Megamenu module

WARNING! To install the module correctly, you must have the free Localcopy OCMOD application installed

  1. Go to Modules/Extensions → Install Extensions and download the uni-megamenu-oc3.ocmod.zip file via the installer.
  2. Go to Modules/Extensions → Modifiers and click the Update button.
  3. Go to System → Users → Usergroups and add permissions to modify the module in the Administrators group.
  4. Go to the section Modules/Extensions → Modules/Extensions, activate the "Uni Megamenu - multi-level universal menu" module.
  5. Go to the module settings, make the necessary settings and save.
  6. Refresh the template, system, and modifier caches.

Module installation instructions:

  1. Before performing any actions to install the add-on in Opencart, we recommend creating a backup copy of all site files and the store database;
  2. Install the localcopy fix (if you don't have it installed yet)
  3. Download the module file for the required Opencart version from our website (Follow the installation instructions if there are any in the module archive);
  4. Then go to the "Installing add-ons/extensions" section and click on the "Download" button;
  5. Select downloaded file and wait for the module to be fully installed and the text "Application installed successfully" to appear;
  6. Then go to "Application Manager" and update the modifiers by clicking the "Update" button;
  7. After these actions, you need to add the rights to view and manage the module in the "User Groups" section for the administrator or other users you select by clicking "Select All"
After completing these steps, your module will be installed and ready to use, and you can start configuring it!
